It's obviously a collector's piece, and like any collector's piece, it costs what the market will bear. You can hate and be jealous that you can't afford this instrument, and try to assure yourselves that it probably doesn't sound that good (I guarantee you it does. Any Ritter bass does.) or that the guy buying it probably can't play, or isn't worthy. But the fact is that this piece of ART, and that's what it is, is worth what it's worth to somebody. Just like a 20's Deucenberg is worth what it's worth to somebody, or a Picasso is worth what it's worth to somebody else. Don’t you guys understand anything?
