back in the argument between Peart and Moon, they are both excellent drummers. peart has a lot more talent than Moon, but Moon still has skills in the area of music that he plays. Danny carey is excellent, so are Joey Jordison, John Bonahm, Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, plenty of drummers. You can’t just pick one drummer and call them the best. Every drummer has a different style that a lot of drummers can’t play, so they’re unique in their own way. maybe Joey Jordison can’t play what peart can play but maybe Moon can play what Joey can play. They all have different styles and genres. And how could i forget about Terry Bozzio and Mike Portnoy? Every drummer is good, but there is no “best” drummer.

I would argue that Terry Bozzio would have it. He has about 70 drums, and on top of that they are all custom DW drums, which are all $200+ each. Then on top of that all of the custom Sabian cymbals, and then the rack. Not to mention the 9 DW9000 pedals he uses.

… Just to add more cymbals start at $100 each, if you already have the cymbal pack and thoose start at $200 for good ones.

That makes sense. Moon’s kit is worth that price becaue he was a lengond. Even though he did do drugs, he stilled played like he ment it. I pretty sure that it must have costed Moon alot just for the kit alone. I know drum kits get expensive denpending on what kind, what kind of cymbals, how many, plus any extra features that go with it.

Pert was, i guess you could say, a drum “god” but danny carey is not far behind pert or moon. Ever consider that?

I think that moon was the coolest drummer but peart overall was a better drummer. moon had very impressive skills that set the bar pretty high but obviously more people think that peart was a better drummer

First of all Keith is dead. Peart continued to influence and rule the world of rock drumming. Do a google search and you will see his name and obsessed followers everywhere. This is not 1976. Come back to the 2000s for a second.

i think that you are wrong in saying that pert is god of drumming, with out Moon and many others, pert would not be a drummer . Moon’s the best drummer to ever walk this earth!
