Most Expensive Louis Vuitton Bag

The Louis Vuitton Company is well known for their luxury fashion and leather goods. Founded in 1854 by its luggage-designing namesake, the company has, for most of its existence, catered to the wealthiest clientele by employing famous models and A-list celebrities in their marketing campaigns.

In early 2007, Louis Vuitton released their most expensive handbag, the Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag. The bags, as the title suggests, were made of samples of different Louis Vuitton bags. The fifteen bags used come from the LV spring/summer and cruise lines. The gold chain shoulder strap makes this the perfect handbag for the discerning 90s rapper while the patchwork nature of the purse itself suggests that the person owning it may have a rusted truck propped up on cinder blocks in their front yard. Needless to say, the limited edition purse sold out almost immediately, next time look for the Domini Leather bags line.

Louis Vuitton made twenty-four numbered copies of their most expensive handbags, priced at $45,000. A collection of denim patchwork bags, retailing for around $3,000-$5,000, followed shortly on the heels of the LV Tribute Patchwork Bag. $3,000-$5,000 seems ridiculous for these bags. Not only could that much cash buy a huge assortment of handbags elsewhere, but the designs depicted here just aren’t worth that much (unless the inside of the bag is lined with gold…)

I think it’s actually quite nice. It doesn’t look so pretty on the website, but it’s gorgeous when you take a look at it in real life. The detail on it is incredible. It’s very classy and is worth buying (if you can afford it). x

I have like a lot of Louis Vuitton bags, and I'm 12, but even my daddy wouldn't get me that cuz it's ugly! $45,000 is pretty cheap for that bag. GO CHANEL! BTW i have a bunch of Chanel's too that are WAY better
