Most Expensive Mansions in the World

Forbes recently published their list of lavish real estate, The World’s Most Expensive Homes 2007, and as we perused the article we couldn’t help but notice that calling these properties homes is almost an insult. These estates are grandiose mansions!

We recently covered the expensive Montana home of Tim Blixseth, but because of the fact that construction is not complete on the Montana lodge, the 103-room 58-acre Updown Court tops the list of the world’s most expensive mansions.
