How about any of the many HIGHLY priced restaurants in Las Vegas? I ate at Craftsteak in the MGM Grand and the ala carte Wagyu beef steak alone was almost $200. Add a side dish and dessert and you're well up there.

The best restaurant in the world, rated as the best for the las 3 years is "El Bulli", in Rosas, Catalonia. The Chef is the well known Ferran Adria, and a menu of degustation is of 300 euros per person. Then add the wine and tips, around 400 euros. It counts with 30 diferent marvelous plates which you would enjoy in a 4-5 hour lunch. If you go to the restaurante you get to meet personally the Chef, and he will explain what you are about to eat. The waiting list is of at least 2 years, so good luck trying to get a reserve!;)

Rozz in San Francisco, very hard to get reservations, at least 1 year in advance and the reservation alone cost $400. The price for one is at least $6,000, full 16 course meal.

You missed Harry's Bar in Venice, Italy! A full meal will run about 350 to 450 Euros, which beats out most of those on your list. And heaven forbid if you should like to order just a side dish. Two dishes of pasta, with a glass of wine each runs about 350 Euros!

There are SO many places as, or more expensive than those on this list. How about Charlie Trotter or Alinea in Chicago? Both are tasting menu restaurants, and both will easily run you $300/person. If you add a wine paring, you'll be closer to $500 - $600 / person.

Queue de Cheval Steak House is a FABULOUS restaraunt, but one of the most expensive in the world? Well, not until the Canadian Dollar exploded against the American - we considered it inexpensive when we were there with a party of five from 2001 to 2007, once a month.

The steaks are a bit pricey, but not overly so, given the size, and I've never seen anyone NOT finish one. The appetizers, on the other hand, are HUGE. And don't order the cigars from the bar, or the 35 year old scotch...

You can get out of there for $50 a head (not much more than most American restaraunts of the same caliber) unless you allow the staff to upsell you, and you will have a fabulous steak.

Oh, BTW, the atmosphere is no different from a Mortons or a Ruths Criss, so if you're actually PAYING for that, forget it.
