World's Most Expensive Rolex Watch

Rolex, according to BusinessWeek, is one of the world’s 100 most valuable brands. The Swiss company’s timepieces are almost synonymous with wealth and status, but Rolex is curiously absent from the list of the world’s top ten most expensive watches. That’s why we’ve decided to let you know about the most expensive Rolex watches in the world.

The most expensive Rolex ever sold at auction was a “Paul Newman” Rolex Oyster Cosmograph “Daytona” sold at a Sotheby’s event in June, 2003. This prototype wristwatch, featuring a red dial and black sub-dials, was produced in 1979. It sold for £210,000—around US $350,000.

Rumors persist regarding a Rolex sold at Selfridges in London for a fantastic price of £8 million—over US $15 million—but they seem to be rumors only.

If you are also a watch collector and your collection has surpassed the list of most expensive watches, then it’s time to take a look at Bob’s Rolex Watches. It is a marketplace to buy and sell used Rolex watches at reasonable market value. What sets them as leader in pre owned watch market space, is the absolute standard and the quality that is offered in their exclusive models.  The huge inventory of watches available with them will not only surprise you but put you in confusion as which one to ink a deal with.

Running business from Huntington Beach, California; Bob’s Watch online shop is today the most trusted name for Pre-owned Rolex watches giving you value for money. Before you finalize a deal with them, I suggest you to get a fair quote for the watch model you are interested in by visiting their serial number lookup tool.

    Unbelievable craftsmanship

  3. A "show-off" item, I don't call a $350,000 exactly well spent, for this money it is possible to create a profitable mid-sized corporation, Invest in frugal product R&D, buy yourself a few cars, feed entire population of Africa's children for entire year, and still have some $ left, it is possible, its been done before. Its just happens that alot of those millionaires are in la-la land, especially when they are in "entertaiment" or "sports" business, can some kind heart give me $300,000 instead for me to help the world??? -_- I thought so.

  6. It's a watch. That is it. No need to pay £250,000 for something to tell the time. jesus christ.

  7. I got a fake Rolex. It keeps perfect time, cost me 20 bucks and you can't tell the difference. So all you spendaholics go ahead and spend 15-20K for your Rolex. I laugh at you every day.

    1. Aren't you a ray of sunshine!

  8. Just push that amount into my account and I’ll create a Multi-Billion dollar Company.

  9. i agree it beter be acurate . or why buy it at all ?

  10. rolex are nice but i'm a bigger fan of Audemars!

  11. There are many collectible nuts in the this crazy world who will pay millions to keep rare watchs in the safe rather than wear them for time. It is all business, whether you like it or not; it will keep going this way. Would you pay 11 millions for a Patek Philippe '89 today? I believe it will worth 40 millions today if it is on auction. Buy a Timex, it will ensure your blood pressure to stay 80/120. Good luck!
