World's Most Expensive Toothbrush

It’s always nice to be able to write about a Most Expensive item that doesn’t outprice its peers by virtue of being solid gold, gold-plated, paved with gems or, as one reader so eloquently put it, “dusted with diamond farts.” That’s just what the world’s most expensive toothbrush is—expensive because it’s just a really nice toothbrush.

You’ve probably seen informational literature about Philip’s Sonicare toothbrushes while sitting in the waiting room at your dentist’s office. The latest Sonicare toothbrushes employ brush heads capable of vibrating at over 600 strokes per second and all of them use inductive charging so water won’t damage your expensive toothbrush while it’s charging.

FlexCare, Philip’s most expensive offering, features a smaller brush head than previous Sonicare toothbrushes and a vibration mechanism in the handle rather than the brush head. It’s also 77% more energy efficient than previous models. The brush even comes with a UV sanitizer to keep the head clean.

The most expensive toothbrush in the world—barring any solid gold brushes with virgin-hair bristles—has a retail price of $169.99.

I agree that this is the best toothbrush I have ever owned. I liked it so much I bought one for my husband too. I am also getting one for my mom. The first time I brushed my teeth with the flexcare, I saw my reflection in them it was so clean. And the whole day food didn’t stick on them.
