World's Most Expensive iPhone - Kings Button
iPhone Apple 3G “Kings Button”

Austrian luxury designer and jeweler Peter Aloisson, creator of one of the world’s most expensive cell phones, has quite literally outdone himself. Last year, he created the world’s most expensive iPhone—the iPhone Princess Plus. This year, he’s created… the world’s most expensive iPhone.

The “Kings Button” [sic] iPhone is, like its predecessor, a jewel-bedecked iPhone. This time, however, Aloisson had the iPhone 3G to play with—and, apparently, a bit of a bigger budget. One hundred and thirty-eight brilliant-cut diamonds line the sides of the phone, but the real prize is the home button—a rare 6.6 carat white diamond.

Last year’s Princess Plus got its name from the Princess cut used on 138 of the 318 diamonds on its surface. The other 180 diamonds on the phone were brilliant-cut. In total, the phone has 17.75 carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold around its rim. The iPhone Princess Plus is worth $176,400 while the somewhat more pedestrian “Brilliants only” version sold for $66,150.

Compare that to the Kings Button’s $2.4 million price tag.

Gah… the punctuation gods are crying. Why must we let our children use the internet so haphazardly?
I agree, though, the ‘add-copious-amounts-of-diamonds’ method of achieving the “Most Expensive ” is getting really tired. For example: the most expensive rims in the world have never even sold a set… good investment Asanti.

Dunno too many people who can buy these phones. I’m happy w/ my prepaid TracFone Motorola W376. It has a camera, FM radio, web access, blue tooth, and comes with “Double Minutes” feature, meaning you get one minute free for every minute you buy. And are you ready for this (DRUM ROLL) The phone costs less than $30, and is available at Walmart, Kmart, Target, Dollar General, Family Dollar. Value and frugality is the status symbol of today!

frugality is the new “in” my friends. go to celldefense.com to find out how smart people get fab cell phone coverage at bargain rates and without contracts.

They only difference between a regular iphone and this is that it has a bunch of rocks on it., and they charge a lot of it. Really, I could put some rock on some paper and sell it for ten million dollars. Sure it’s dimonds(relly just rocks that common people can identify), but it’s just rocks.
