World's Most Expensive RV

Whether you call them campers, caravans, coaches or recreational vehicles, RVs represent both the freedom of the open road and the comfort of home. While no RV can be a substitute for a hundred million dollar mansion, the world’s most expensive RV certainly tries.

Let’s get the obvious thing out of the way first—yes, the Vantare Platinum Plus holds a car. It doesn’t come with a car—you have to supply that yourself—but it can carry a sports car in the port between its front and rear wheels. You probably couldn’t fit an Oldsmobile in there, but why would you have an Oldsmobile when you can afford an RV like this?

The next bit of luxury comes as you enter this expensive camper. The entry steps are made of rare Inca marble sporting hand-made glass and copper risers. Entering the helm, you’ll see an Italian leather ceiling, sapele veneer on the dash and steering wheel and an Avic N-2 GPS system.

The Platinum Plus features a salon area with a reclining Italian sofa, a liquor cabinet stocked with Michael Weems glasses and a Neiman Marcus decanter and a desk complete with notebook, printer and sueded drawers.

In the stateroom, a plasma TV rises from the floorboard across from the luxuriously adorned king-sized bed. The galley is equally well-appointed, though you’ll have to hire your own chef. There’s even a treadmill in the aft closet.

All of that luxury makes the most expensive RV in the world seem a bargain at $2.5 million.

its small, only two axels. The car port is a waste of space, you could just get a trailer.
